The Poor
God’s heart for the poor . . .
Luke 14:13 But when you give a reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.
It is part of God’s righteousness and justice, part of having the life of God within us, to have a care and concern for the poor and needy, the afflicted and oppressed, the widow and the orphan. God’s desire is that we, the vessels of His love, mercy and grace, reach out to these who are considered “the least of these” (Matthew 25:45).
We desire to get this God-heart for the poor, bring them the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3), see their lives transformed into spiritual revolutionaries.
We carry out this desire through:
· Monthly BBQ for the homeless & residential poor (3rd Saturday of each month,
10:30 a.m. at 1818 Park Row, Dallas, TX, 75215,

· Monthly Grocery and Prayer Giveaway (1st Saturday of each month, 11 a.m. at same location as above, same contact)
· Bi-monthly Food Pantry (providing food for 80 families in the neighborhood of The Father’s House): money needed to purchase food items, contact 469-334-0030)
· Daily feeding from the backdoor of The Compassion House: always need smooth peanut butter and grape jelly!
